CrowdStrike Global Incident - Impact to Swipeclock
Incident Report for Swipeclock
Resolved
As most of you are aware, cyber security management platform CrowdStrike caused a catastrophic global Windows server outage with a release to its Windows security application. Swipeclock's infrastructure was impacted briefly by this event. Our system was back up and fully operational by 2am MDT. We suggest that any organization with employees attempting to make punches via the WebClock or any Swipeclock mobile application between 10:30pm and 2am MDT manually add these times to timecards in the various Swipeclock systems. All punches taken via physical clocks have been transmitted or will be shortly and will appear on timecards without issue.
One lingering item from the CrowdStrike outage pertains to a small number of Swipeclock employee laptops. Our internal IT team continues to apply the fix to these workstations, but please be aware this issue my impact responses to Technical Support Tickets and/or emails between Partners, Customers and Swipeclock employees, including Sales, Professional Services and Account Management.
We thank you for your continued patience with our team as they work to get their personal computers back online.

Thank-you
